Akaku Seeks Certified Producers to Serve on its Board
Hurry Deadline to Apply Ends Next Week! Akaku: Maui Community Television community producers to elect two nominees to fill producer seats on Akaku’s Board of Directors
The Board of Directors at Akaku: Maui Community Television is looking for two Akaku certified-producers to serve on its Board of Directors. Currently the Akaku Board has representatives from four stakeholder groups: Public, Education, Government and Producers. Akaku will host an election for the two producers’ seats that will become vacant this fall in October 2009 for a three-year term. For elected positions, all nominees must be active Akaku-certified producers and submit the application for producer’s seat no later than Friday, July 31 at 5pm.
Akaku certified producers who are interested in filling the producer seat vacancies, must have their name on an approved list of certified producers. A complete list of certified producers that are eligible for the election will be posted at www.akaku.org in the ProducerNet section of the website.
