Akakū Offers Class About Shooting Video “On Location”… Starts 9/3/19

www.akaku.orgKAHULUI – Akakū Maui Community Media is offering its popular Basic Video Storytelling class beginning Tuesday, September 3 and continuing through Friday, September 27. Class sessions take place Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Students will learn the fundamentals of digital video production in the field, from idea to finished edit, during the eight-session class. Topics include storyboarding, creating a shot list, camera controls, microphone use, interview techniques, newsgathering, and editing.

Graduates are invited to become Akakū Producer Associates and can then reserve and check out Akakū’s field camera kits and editing stations to create their own content for broadcast on Akakū’s cable TV channels.
