Akakū Upstairs returns on Thursday, October 17th, join Jerry Isdale from the Maui Institute of Art & Technology for a hands-on workshop designed to help you conquer the initial learning curve of text-based AI systems like ChatGPT and Claude. This workshop focuses on the practical uses of these tools for business and personal projects, demystifying AI and getting you up to speed quickly. Topics covered will include crafting prompts, generating ideas, developing coaching materials, advanced tips such as working around token limits, uploading documents, and saving results for future use. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops or smartphones and set up free accounts on ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic) beforehand. Limited workstations will be available at Akakū.
Doors open at 5:30pm giving the community time to mix and mingle. The workshop goes from 6pm – 7:30pm.
