Kathy Collins is an actress, storyteller, comedian, radio & TV host, newspaper columnist, freelance writer, and proud Maui girl. Her pidgin-speaking alter ego, “Tita”, performs throughout the state and the mainland, sharing Hawaiian legends, Pidgin Pride, and the Spirit of Aloha.
In 2015, Collins was recognized as one of Maui County’s Outstanding Women by the Committee on the Status of Women. Her latest thrill was opening for Rita Rudner at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

Kathy will talk story about local views on Ohana, Aloha and Pidgin Pride. She will discuss long-standing values relating to Maui with a comical twist. She’ll also share the opening and closing monologues of her CD, Death Comedy Jam.
