Captain Paul Haake of the Department of Fire & Public Safety – Fire Prevention Bureau will present fire safety information at Akakū Upstairs on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Capt. Haake will provide information to help reduce the risk of a fire in residential or commercial dwellings. He will outline reaction steps to take should a fire happen in your immediate surrounds. This presentation is important because the majority of fire deaths occur in the home.

The Fire Prevention Bureau would like the audience to go home and evaluate their living conditions to reduce their risk of fire in the homes and places of work.  His goal is for you to have a clear idea of what preparation is needed to evacuate the home or office safely.
