The Akakū Production Department is able to consider Non-Profit, Education & Government requests for video production that meet the following criteria:
- The event must be free and open to the public.
- The organization must be a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, an accredited education facility or a government entity.
- The organization should have a budget to help offset the costs to provide support for the Akakū production crew.
- Organizations and groups can apply for coverage of meetings and events of public importance with the understanding that Akaku has limited resources available
Akakū’s Production Department also provides LIVE coverage of Primary and General Elections and live and taped Community Events.
All Maui County residents are invited to Submit Video programs online or at the Akakū offices in Maui or Molokai at no charge for air on Akakū Maui Community Media Channels 53, 54 and 55 available on the Spectrum Cable Television system serving 53,000 cable homes on Maui, Molokai and Lanai, and online to the world at www.akaku.org.
